Keep Moving Forward

Throughout our lives, we will be pushed, driven forward to tried to reach our full potential. The question is, what is enough? How do we know if we made it or need to keep going?

The answer is, never stop. Keep moving.

You need to push yourself

Reach outside your comfort zone

People say these quotes all of the time and dont take the time to recognize what they mean.

Some examples to exemplify these qualities above.

1. You are sitting on your computer, watching the third Netflix episode of your guilty-pleasure tv show. A paper is due not tomorrow, but the next day.

Work on it

2. Those nachos your brother asked for?

Just make them and bring out more happiness

Be inspired. Train you brain to analyze a situation from all angles to determine what path is the right to take. Next, put your 100% effort into it. Although your 100% may not be enough, you will have the knowledge that you worked to the best of your abilities.

Never give up.

Keep moving forward.

Perception

Hello my fellow readers! School is out and summer is here; students all over the world can take a respite from classes and homework and direct their own future.

Theme of the week: Perception

Today, I would love to discuss with you all about my feelings regarding Perception and how it is related to happiness.

To the dictionary, perception is a way of regarding, understanding, or interpreting something; a mental impression. Most would probably agree with this definition, because it is usually difficult to assign words to a theme or idea.

Perception about happiness, so what do I mean when I say that?

Everyday in our lives, we are faced with events that can alter our take on that day: a boss suggests that some of his workers aren't preforming as well as they should be; an A- on a test you did not study for; a close friend lies and is betraying. Wether a situation is positive or negative, the key in life to achieve happiness is about how your perceive these actions.

Taking my scenarios, look at the boss situation as an opprotunity to strive to preform your best.
The test grade may not have felt earned due to your lack of studying, but didn't it make your day?

When a close friend lies or is betraying, you have to try to put yourself in their shoes. It is up to your mental impression; you are in control of the issue at this point.

So for the summer, take some time to fabricate reasons for events that occur. YOU are in charge. That rude lady talking on the phone next to you? Don't get annoyed about her prating. Consider her situation, you are not the person to judge. At the end of the day, that judging will only bring you down.

Enjoy the summer!

Motivation in Life

Some people view life as a little speck. As MacBeth said in Shakepears' work, "Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player / That struts and frets his hour upon the stage / An then is heard no more. It is a tale / Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, / Signifying nothing ."

Well I have to disagree with that. Life is a precious think that too many people take for granted. Im not saying that life is perfect though. Oh it can sometimes even be the atheists of that. Life can be harsh, cruel, and heart-breaking. Obstacles constantly come into your life-sometimes even making you feel that life itself is impossible.

How do we move past these times? Motivation.

Somehow, something inside of us is telling us to move forward, keep going. It is those motivators that makes us determined to continue.

So I leave you with this: What is your motivation? It can be virtually anything or anyone. Maybe even multiple things.

When you feel knocked down, you dont have to focus on the positive; you may not be able to find the positive in the worst situation. Instead, imagine those motivators that you have and "just keep swimming."

What Are They Really Thinking?

Hello everyone! I am going to start making a goal of doing two blog posts a week. Hopefully this will serve as some sort of motivation.

Topic of tonight: What Are They Really Thinking?

I guess I am writing this post to somewhat answer my own questions.

Here are some quick tips to try to discover what people are thinking/feeling:
1. Body Language
2. Voice Tone
3. Posture (sort of body language)

When I was in a one act a year ago, I had act that I liked someone and then we very quickly grew apart (like right on the spot). We started off facing one another and had our KNEES pointing towards each other. This symbolizes a connection and you can see it in a day-to-day basis

We've all tried talking to a dog saying something bad about him or her and laugh in a cheery voice and laugh when they wag their tale. Yes, people can lie and try to hide their feelings but now and then a little slip of the voice may occur and you can tell how they are feeling.

BUT STILL...how can you tell if a person in your life cares about you or not?!

Well this is something I am still discovering for myself. I have had people was out of my life and sometimes I dont understand. Maybe I never even will.

My Solution: SHOW PEOPLE YOU CARE ABOUT THEM! Have your best friends over more, tell the guy you like him, help your siblings out when you can because someday, they may not be there anymore!

^^I should really learn to take my own advice. Thinking is no longer enough you have to Express your feelings and maybe the train will come back to you someday.

Keep smiling:) move forward and express yourself (thoughts, feelings, and opinions)
