They say you need a starting point. Maybe it is time to readdress Instagram.
Previously, discussed the importance of followers and follower and how it play a physiological role in children and teens everyday life now.
THAT'S JUST PART ONE.
Once you tackle followers/following, then you have to deal with another concept (also seen on social media site such a Facebook) -liking.
When something is "liked" by someone, it is shown to the world who liked it and what it is for.
Here is a photo that I posted this Sunday in the afternoon and it received a decent amount of likes-more than 30.
My goal as an "instagramer" is to post approximately 1-2 photos every week and get around 35 likes. That "like" number, however, steadily increases now and then because I gain more followers or Instagram becomes more popular.
Im not saying that I have these strict goals. On the contrary, what is the point of social media? To stay connected blah-blah-blah.....okay thats half true. Now though we have these numbers and stats that we try to perfect everyday, it is more than that. Liking does somewhat show popularity but not completely. It really depends on what it means for you to be "popular."
More discussions/debates with myself about social media and conspiracies to come. I hope everyone had a happy monday and that we all will continue to have an amazing week!
