Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Merry Christmas   Happy New Year

I have a feeling that just about every person in the United States have at least heard either "Merry Christmas" or "Happy New Year" at least a dozen times in the past few weeks. If you havent, you sure now that more "Happy New Years" are to come!

My post tonight is about what these words really mean. It seems as if they are almost said off hand, or as if no one seems to care. People usually dont realize the affect of these words.

It can go a number of different ways.

First of all, you may hear this too much. It seems almost repetitive and loses almost all of its sincerity.
Second, you may be very very busy and barely even hear these words.
Third, you may hear these words just the right amount but dont even care about their meaning.

Tonight, I write this because I really want people to know the important of these words. Although a common catch phrase marketers use to try to get customers and sell products, they really symbolize a much bigger meaning. It may even be something too big to understand if you dont take the time.

Just appreciate that people take the little time out of their day to say these kind words to you. Along with that, pass the message along and hope to enlighten someone elses day :)
